Water Indonesia 2025: Driving Innovation for Sustainable Water Solutions

Discover Water Indonesia 2025, the premier water industry event in Jakarta, September 10–13. Explore cutting-edge technologies, sustainable solutions, and multisector collaboration addressing clean water access, wastewater management, and industrial needs.

Jakarta, July 2, 2025 — Water Indonesia 2025, the fourth edition of the nation’s premier water industry event, is set to take center stage as part of the prestigious ASEAN Water Series, Southeast Asia’s leading water exhibition platform. Scheduled for September 10–13, 2025, at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, this event will spotlight cutting-edge technologies and foster multisector collaboration to address Indonesia’s pressing water challenges.

Building on last year’s success, Water Indonesia 2024 attracted 84 companies from 15 countries, drawing 3,410 industry professionals across 4,752 square meters of exhibition space. This momentum positions Water Indonesia 2025 to drive advancements in water management, sustainable investment, and resilient governance, supporting industries like construction, manufacturing, and more.

Held within the Indonesia Energy & Engineering (IEE) Series 2025, the event will unite government, industry leaders, academics, and communities to tackle issues like clean water access, wastewater management, and rising industrial water demands amid rapid urbanization and environmental pressures. Country Manager of Pamerindo Indonesia, Lia Indriasari, emphasized, “With urbanization and industrial growth, efficient and sustainable water management is a national priority. Water Indonesia 2025 will showcase innovative technologies to ensure long-term water security and environmental health.”

Indonesia faces significant hurdles, including unequal access to clean water—92.64% of households had access in 2024, yet rural areas (87.06%) lag behind urban centers (96.56%). Prolonged droughts and a projected 50% clean water shortage by 2050 further complicate the landscape. The government’s RPJMN 2025–2029 aims to boost water storage capacity to 63 m³/capita and expand urban piped water access to 51.36%.

Key exhibitors, including Wilo Pumps Indonesia, Mitra Bangunan Abadi, and Hoco Asia Industry, will present advanced filtration, recycling, and wastewater solutions, supporting sustainable construction and manufacturing. The event also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, promoting clean water and sanitation through national programs and public-private partnerships (KPBU), such as the Jatigede and Denpasar water supply systems.

Water Indonesia 2025 will champion a circular water economy, integrating policy, technology, and industry to transform wastewater into a resource. By fostering innovation and collaboration, the event aims to strengthen Indonesia’s leadership in regional water management, ensuring sustainability and economic growth.
